Welcome to the Food Insecurities Ministry
of St. Rose of Lima
The Food Insecurities Ministry holds monthly food drives and holiday food basket drives to donate to the Pierre Toussaint Food Pantry in Newark.
Food donation collections are typically held on the last weekend of each month throughout the year. The ministry holds special Holiday Food Basket drives for Thanksgiving and Easter. The Food Basket drives provide everything needed for families to prepare an entire Thanksgiving or Easter dinner.
Lists of requested food items are available below. Purchase items from list and drop off at our blue van on collection weekends or anytime.

Donations of the following non-perishable food items needed: Peanut Butter, Jelly, Pasta, Red Sauce, Beans, Rice, Family Cereal (Cheerios, Corn Flakes etc) Mac & Cheese.
