Jesus made time to comfort the sick, "placing his hands on them", and praying with them.
We are dedicated to visiting the sick because Jesus has shown us how our presence to them is not simply comforting but healing.
We make visits to local hospitals and nearby care centers regularly.
Please call the parish office 973.379.3912 and leave the name and location of your family member, however, is now essential.
Hospitals in recent years have been forced to carefully monitor visits by non-family members. Clergy, therefore, are welcome but must know, beforehand, who is currently being treated in a hospital or other healthcare facility. Therefore, please notify us when a member of your family is or shortly will be hospitalized so that we can be familiar presence to them during their stay in a local hospital, rehab center or nursing home.
